Coding your own site - Mack - 01-23-2014

Hi guys! I'm considering designing my own sites from scratch, and I was wondering how you guys deal with it? I have considered taking an online course or a college class to learn it, but I want to know if it's just easier to use tutorials on the web?

I learned all I know from the net. And by experimenting.

One day I downloaded Joomla and learned and after that I downloaded WordPress and just started to create websites...
I bought a few things at Warrior forum on how to get stardet with Twitter, FB and Google ads. And that was it.

Yeah, it's quite simple to learn, it will take some time as some coding languages are hard to understand, but once you learn, you'll be making sites like crazy. Plus, general coding isn't as popular as it once was, especially with Wordpress and Joomla making the whole process much more seamless.

Learning to code isn't easy by any means, but it can be quite helpful to creating a better understanding of how to work with sites. I learned to code a bit in the past couple years. It's not easy to learn it either, but it gets easier after you take your time to learn the basics, and teach yourself. It's great that you are interested in this, it's quite possibly the future.

I have little knowledge in coding myself. It's very limited, but I have tried to learn more often. It's not easy by any means, but it can be fun when you learn the basics at least. I am trying to get the basics of CSS down right now, so far it's going pretty good. I like it. Smile

I code my own sites for the most part, but I also use Wordpress. I've learned to do it because of my brother, who's a computer genius taught me how to code and now it's my job.
